Tesla Robotaxi network + Hamilton ops

Hamilton Cybercabs is designed to lean on Tesla's Robotaxi ecosystem for rider distribution and autonomy software — while keeping steel-city fleet execution local. That dependency is a feature and a risk.

Tesla enrollment, commercial terms, geographic coverage, and Cybercab hardware availability are not guaranteed and are not presented here as a signed contract. Canadian / Ontario launch timing for unsupervised robotaxi service is uncertain. This page describes a planning posture, not a partnership announcement.

Why the network matters

Demand distribution

If Tesla opens a robotaxi rider channel in Canada, it may concentrate trip request flow — reducing the need to build a consumer app from scratch.

Autonomy software

Vehicle autonomy stack and OTA improvement loops remain Tesla-controlled. Local ops do not claim to build Level 4 software.

Local fleet execution

Cleaning, charging, insurance coordination, municipal liaison, and investor reporting sit with the Hamilton operator.

Capital efficiency

Reusing a national/global network for demand can let a small fleet focus capital on vehicles and depot readiness — if enrollment exists.

Network leverage without local excellence is a hollow plan. Hamilton advantages we intend to lean on: waterfront and industrial corridor familiarity, shorter municipal feedback loops than a mega-metro HQ, and an operator who lives the service area. None of that substitutes for Tesla access or regulatory permission.
